Adele Dejak x Salvatore Ferragamo = "Bags for Africa"

In support of the third edition of the BAGS FOR AFRICA auction (a charity initiative formed by the national chamber of Italian fashion, Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, and promoted by COOPI, an Italian NGO) luxury leather 

designer, Adele Dejak (handmade fashion accessories brand for the modern, sophisticated and multidimensional woman)   was honoured to collaborate with Salvatore Ferragamo to create a special limited edition of the iconic Sofia bag. Only 6 pieces were made and proceeds from sales are going to help fund a project entitled “D as in development: the future of Africa is Woman”, designed to promote property and education rights for women in Sierra Leone.

This is a major collaboration - most likely one of the most interesting so far, thanks to Vogue Italia Editor, Franca Sozzani

When Vogue Italia Visited Fashion Designers in Lagos

Yesterday, one of my PR mentors and PR Girl for Lanre Da-Silva Ajayi @Onobellotweeted about being with Roberto Cavalli...I felt so happy and wanted all the gist. But sad, couldn't get enough, so I'll put it as simple as I heard it...Vogue Italia Editor, Franca Sozzani alongside Franca Sozanni and Roberto Cavalli are in Nigeria previewing the works of few Nigerian designers. So far designers confirmed include; Lanre Da Silva Ajayi’s and VictataT-shirts

A shoot featuring a few Nigerian designers is also supposed to be featured in Vogue Italia, however there is no confirmation on this when it is to be published.

According to sources "Rumour has it that Cavalli is in Nigeria to open a brand new shop there".

To that I say Fantastic!
