It's been a fun season, lots of parties, outings and dinners.

My holiday season started with work, we had the most interesting client(s) event towards the end of the year 2013 and because it was December it was more fun than work – quite understandable right?

Closing off the work year two weeks before 2014, the festive activities had to start immediately :)

My friend (Isi) and I had planned a long list of activities - slumber party, dinner dates, movie nights, club nights, jet skiing, etc for the holidays and we had great fun doing it all.

Truly a memorable close to 2013…

That Perfect Date

I didn't quite get what I was doing few years back when I started writing about dining especially restaurant dining but somehow Guardian Newspaper Sunday Editor asked if I'd love to start a column....WHAT?  I screamed, well not quite. Gladly I took the offer and started out with regular dinner dates, weekend hang out with friends and other times just me. Soon it became an habit and here getting paid to write about dining out, now that's one cool thing even for someone that barely eats.  With several positive comments, reviews and recommendation over the years I'm happy to add 'Food Connoisseur' to be my profile and signature. Clinique-al Experience

I attended the official opening of Clinique in Nigeria today. While the launch which was held at the Radisson Blu Anchorage Hotel in Victoria Island, didn't quite have enough media representatives in attendance - compared to the MAC which launched same day, same venue - the brand packaging was quite brilliant, not often seen her.

Well, all good and perfect it's definitely great to have e an international skin brand as this officially be in Nigeria. Can't wait to participate in their upcoming activities and most assuredly start my trial period with all the lovely products I received.

Musing ... On Radisson Blu and BRT Bus

The thing with Lagos and appointments is that anyone barely meets up with scheduled time, even those ones that often talk on Twitter about their disgust for latecomers. But frankly, they are guilty too   - one time or the other.

This first week of January started with documentations, proposal writings, pitching and more paper work. The second however has been quite the opposite, lots of meetings and run-arounds for partnership deals and editorial content for February & March editions of Mania magazine as we're working on two issues at the moment.
