Jason's Wonder
My boy never fails me, he's always on point! Five star for you mate..lol. Well, I call him - Jason Wu my boy because hey, it's been a long time coming for both of us (laughs out loud) how many years has it been now since Fashion Fund where he left the judges (Anna Wintour, Mark Holgate, Diane von Furstenburg) stunned. Perhaps two or three years but oh dear this young talented designer has not relented an inch. He's super cute - yes cute! He creates amazing designs for every, *repeat* every woman that is chic, classy yet elegant. I love Jason Wu.
His success stories this year has not been minimal as well, Jason Wu has grown from styling top celebrities from all around the world, partnering with several fashion and non-fashion related brands to dressing the First Lady of the United States (FLOTUS)... Scream!

TREND FORECAST: For the Love of Fashion - Come 2013
2012 has been a very lovely and fulfilling year, with lots
of good news, achievements, and discoveries, blessings within and outside the
fashion industry.
In 2012 we saw different fashion trends revealed by various
designers on the runway and in their look books but the question is what trends
will be carried on into 2013. From the long list of trends that reigned through
2012, from sheer, lace, high slits, shorts, etc which ones will trend in 2013?
It’s obvious some of the 2012 trends will come along into the New Year but it’s apparent also that new ones will be discovered. I took up a challenge of looking through the past and most recent collections – Spring/Summer, Pre Fall, Fall/Winter, Ready-to-Wear to examine what trends so far within the last couple months, say three months will extend into the New Year. And yes, there are new trends, beautiful and safer ones too.
Some of these trends include; leather, stripes thanks to Marc Jacobs and Rebahia, lace …more lace, African print, folds & wraps, flares, capes and lines, holographic details and more.
My favourite pick of trends to watch in 2013 are highlighted below….

Getting Wu - oed
Think sexy chic, think leather, sassy, lace, sheath, sheer, bold, daring and most importantly a perfect blend of masculinity plus feminine(ity) which creates an outstanding smart casual look that I'll rock anyday.
Give me any piece from this collection and I'll rock any time of the day- day, evening and night because I'm all about functionality, being chic and comfortable.
Jason Wu successfully wooed his audience - again, with this collection which consists of different materials, ideas and cuts which somehow he constructed carefullly to make a fantastic story all together. After all amongst the things that determine a great collection, good construction, proper placement of cuts, fabric choice, and overall, neat finishing go a long way.. Jason Wu didn't fall out on any of these, I am beyond impressed and I hope that somehow I get to own one at least one piece from this collection.

Jason is one designer who has continued to create a spark with each collection he has made to fat; his spontaneity thrills me specially. Looking through the entire collection one piece at a time makes me marvel at his level ingenuity; he passes a strong message across with so much ease and simplicity that makes me appreciate his style of design.

Jason Wu has definitely developed past the young designer who made that spectacular dress for Michelle Obama...perhaps she will wear one or two of these unique pieces. Amazing is not close to a description of Jason Wu's collection and show

Valentino Ad Campaign featuring Sicilian Palazzo Valguarnera-Gangi in Palermo
(Giorgio Armani ad campaign) ---
While there are quite a number of Resort ad campaigns these below are my favourite picks and yes they have something in common; red, fear, danger!
Edgy, gawky and exactitude are few words that explain these creative ideas of perfection.
