Maybe it’s the use of bright beautiful colours or the stunning accessories that flow all around this shoot but oh sweetness the whole idea is simply superb! I so love it right now…The subtle but slightly fierce look Joan wears plus the styling, the makeup rounds it all up for perfection.


Joan Smalls nabs her second Vogue cover with the May issue of Vogue Australia. The Puerto Rican beauty shows off her timeless appeal in strictly elegant spring fashions selected by fashion editor Naomi Smith - Prada 'fire' shoes(like I call them), pastel and more colours. In front of Kai Z Feng’s lens, Joan hits the streets in retro inspired pieces from the likes of Proenza Schouler, Tom Ford, Jil Sander and Nina Ricci.
