#NYFW News Alert: Maki OH Stages First-ever Fashion Week Show

According to report, Nigerian-born designer, Maki Oh will stage her first-ever fashion week show during the New York Fashion Week. 

The designer, AmAKA Osakwe of Maki Oh uses traditional Nigerian techniques and motifs to breathe new life into soigné silhouettes. She is also known to use prints – adire specifically as a way to comment on tribal secret-keeping.  

NYFW will be Maki Oh’s first-ever fashion week show. I’m excited for Amaka Osakwe and really look forward to the collection.
