FILM - The Lives of Others
Reel Life Film Club wishes you all a happy 2012 and brings you 'The Lives of Others', a 2006 German drama set in East Berlin of 1984, Winner of the 2006 Academy Awards and European Awards and nominee of the Globe Awards.
The film had earlier won seven Deutscher Filmpreis awards - including those for best film, best director, best screenplay, best actor, and best supporting actor - after setting a new record with 11 nominations.

The Lives of Others showcases an agent of the secret police, who while conducting surveillance on a writer and his lover, finds himself gradually but increasingly being sucked into their lives. Written and directed by FlorianHenckel von Donnersmarck, it stars Ulrich Muhe, Martina Gedeck, and Sebastian Koch.

Films at Reel Life are FREE and all are welcome.
