I believe it’s no news how much I love simple designs. Point to note though, when I say simple I do not mean bare – I mean mature, professionally executed, chic, elegant in an understated way, creative, divine and all those sweet words that define perfection. Such is BCBG Max Azria’s Pre-Fall 2013 collection.
BCBG Max Azria presents clothes as sole definition of noble style
for a woman who has a sophisticated eye for class, appreciates distinct hues in
simple cuts as well as is willing to flaunt her femininity in a very sexy ‘non
vulgar’ and grown up way. While there’s a clear address to being sexy, there’s
also a slight hint of masculinity (double-length zipper, defined hemlines and
construed waist design details all representing power) thereby giving the
entire collection that super ultra feminine character.
From relaxed yet very polished silhouette to well-placed
cut-outs and proportioned fabrics, each piece in this collection is something a
mature liberal, career-driven, classy woman would want to wear.
Other strong points in this collection include; reverted
lapels of the fur coats, highlighted pleats behind blouses, signature chiffons,
short skirts with extra flare cut-outs and the perfect mix of sheer and lace on
the hemlines of coats, skirts, dresses and particular parts of the body. Filled
with easy going, chic tailoring and striking pieces, this collection definitely
passes for the rogue romantic – that woman that’s unapologetically romantic,
cheats on style by picking from all around her simply to soothe her endearing
choice…Now, that I want to be!
