In Honor of Isabella Blow – Somerset House Exhibition Featuring Alexander McQueen, Phillip Treacy

A Philip Treacy Victorian lace hat from 2001 is displayed at the Isabella Blow: Fashion Galore exhibition at Somerset House on November 19, 2013 in London, England.

Presented in partnership with the Isabella Blow Foundation and Central Saint Martins the show features over 100 garments from designers such as Alexander McQueen and Philip Treacy. Selected from the personal collection of the late British patron of fashion and art, the exhibition runs from November 20, 2013 to March 2, 2014.

FALL FANTASY: Alexander McQueen A/W '13

Three words to describe Alexander McQueen autumn/winter 2013 collection; surreal, classy, feminine. 

Sarah Burton just knows how to keep the versatile, daring feminine look fresh and cool...with lots of white, black, high slits, gold touches, etc I'm especially loving the high necks, long sleeves with extra cuts, the slim pants (even for a bootcut/flare pants loving person), the chunky shoes, velvet, fur, the leather pencil skirts.
