Isi Atagamen Fashion Label (IAFL) announces the release of the “Athena” collection which is designed for the chic, versatile, practical, sexy, and glamorous woman. This collection is inspired by the idea of Greece; the ancient Greek costumes, the peaceful environment and the sea of Greece. Today’s release marks the latest addition to the brand’s collection of energetic, sophisticated designs that lets the Isi Atagamen Fashion Label (IAFL) woman convey a powerful, philosophical and motivational message through each design’s unique approach. “My designs are versatile, creative and sometimes simple but with an edge. They’re basically ready to wear pieces,” says the designer, Isi Atagamen. From daring cuts which are in high-grade, carefully embossed embellishment to proper asymmetric silhouette that highlight the most endearing parts of the female body, each piece in this collection builds on a theme of its own while still molding a form of steeliness with constructive designs of capes, floral and pleats. One of my favouriet model and my favourite designer..woot!

Stella McCartney's fall 2012 ads have an appropriately sporty feel, given that she designed the London Olympic British team uniforms. Model Natalia Vodianova, who has been featured in McCartney's past three campaigns, is seen in active poses like kicking or stretching her arm. The wares, which were shot in London by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, feel mod with a bold-color, black, and white palette.

Vlisco Presents the Funky Grooves Collection

The Funky Grooves collection draws from Vlisco’s proud history, inspired by global urban culture and couture craftsmanship. It’s a collection of contrasts, with edgy street wear influences reinterpreted through a lens of pure glamour. The new collection is a melting pot of ideas, using new colours to update Vlisco’s heritage designs, and classic Vlisco techniques to create new looks.

Raw, geometric lines, traditional wrap shapes, bold metallic studs and edgy industrial hues come together to create a modern vibe. The collection’s colours range from earthy browns, brassy golds and bronzes, to brick reds and shocking pinks, and fresh acid blues and greens. It all comes together in the Funky Grooves collection, for a look that is bold, punky and original, yet feminine and effortlessly easy to wear.

The new Funky Grooves fabrics will also form part of a fashion & accessories collection, which will be available at selected Vlisco boutiques from August 2012.
