Sunny Rose S/S 2012

I saw the Spring/Summer Sunny Rose collection few weeks back but I’ve actually been taking each day since to diligently notice every effort that went into this amazing collection. This collection is for everyone, no matter the taste, personal style all can be achieved - the casual look, chic, dinner, yet corporate look, all is defined in the collection.

There’s something especially amusing about these collection…and I do not mean the smear of beautiful essentials all over the collections but for the outstanding impression each look raises within.

Sunny Rose’ Spring/Summer 2012 collection covers every nip and tick of a standard accurate, well-thought collection. The detailed attention to each piece from this collection is quite outstanding while the hemlines, cuts and embroideries all sum up faultless. There is a breath of freshness as well as luxury, from the iridescent jackets, ruffle-detailed tops to the extra-large bags and clutches, the cropped pants, the beautiful mix of prints and the skirts; Sunny Rose yet confirms her versatility in fashion.

Flight of Fantasy: Aboard Air Chanel

Noone does it like Chanel!

Karl! Karl!! Karl!!! That’s what I always scream every time Chanel unveils a new collection. It’s always about the beautiful pieces, the lovely colours and the amazing theme imbibed into each show…Simply thrilling!

Chanel is one of those amazing brands you cannot wait to see every season and ‘The Karl’ as I call him keeps leaving me speechless and inspired.
Again Karl wowed everyone at the just concluded Spring/Summer 2012 collection – the setting was like that of an airplane.

Blue - the colour of sky - was the favourite hue, in all its shades from chalcedony to Pan-Am and midnight. Bags were replaced by ubiquitous pockets - some of them built-into the drop waistbands.

As Coco realised back in the '30s, pockets are key to achieving a slouchy, laid back look. And planes, as far as Lagerfeld is concerned, are a handy aid to relaxing. "I love flying. It's the one time I can escape. I don't have to talk; everyone around me is watching screens. I can be alone. It's perfect".

Amazing Armani!

There’s just so much too ‘accurate’ detailing. Each piece from this S/S 2012 Armani Prive haute couture collection holds you spell bound…The collection is simply amazing!

From the structuring, the materials, the little details at the tips to the ‘ruffled’ hair, the neutral makeup look, the accessories; the shoes are enchanting, while the purses, clutch are simply irresistible.

Not entirely co-incidentally, there were statement silhouettes aplenty in Armani's couture show including a giant lime green pod-cape (above) that's probably destined for Lady Gaga. More mainstream were the irridiscent jackets, slim trousers and egg shaped skirts, although the latter came with a twist, literally, in the guise of challenging panniers that may prove too edgy for the average red carpeteer.

Each item lays on its own but also combines with the others to yield a fantastic look which is very applicable for anyone.

This Time we’ll Get These Things Sorted… Really we will!

Do I really have to begin this again, am I supposed to focus when the thought of him keeps interfering important tasks, I need finished asap.

I’ve really spent too long worrying over this so it’s time I let go; break free of me, look beyond whatever attention he seems to always grab from me.

This I’ll do; I’ll take a day or two up on it, to ponder, dissect and declare all the pros and cons. Then I can define my feelings, I can let go …(if I really want to) or perhaps come clean with this feelings.

There it is!
I’m relieved, now onto unfinished business.
