One of Nigeria's young and fast rising fashion designer who
recently participated in the Lagos Fashion and Design Week 2012 Competition,
Wana Sambo has released a Resort collection.
The designer of her eponymous label says "the original
idea for this collection was birthed from a daily visit to vintage bars and
coffee shops. The collection has pieces you wear out to grab a coffee, go
dancing, basically all things fun, retro, chic and wild. Thigh high slit
skirts, party tops and shorts! Its sequins, silk, jersey, chiffon and
leather". Basically this collection
features pieces that can be worn around and everywhere; they are casual and as
well can be styled for corporate or night out.
