Toyosi Akerele Gains Recognition Home and Abroad - Honoured at THISDAY Awards 2012

Enigmatic and fast-rising Young entrepreneur and Youth Ambassador, Toyosi Akerele, recently bagged an award of distinction and excellence from the ThisDay awards that held at the Eko Convention centre on 13th February, 2011. The 17th annual Thisday Awards was themed: Celebrating Women of distinction and life of service to Nigeria and Humanity.

The event had in attendance Captains of industries, top government functionaries, business tycoons and International delegates to mention but a few.
The presence of the 48th President of the U.S, Bill Clinton and the wife of the ex-Prime Minister of Greet Britain, Mrs Cherie Blair QC, added colour and glitz to the event.
Toyosi is a recipient of a good number of other awards and honour with the latest being a recognition as a 2012 New Leader of Tomorrow by Crans Montana Forum in Belgium.
Also in the latter part of 2011, Toyosi won the Young Entrepreneur of Year 2011 Success Digest Entrepreneurial Awards and was also honoured as an outstanding alumnus by the School of Media and Communications of Pan African University.

Toyosi’s sterling Youth empowerment efforts and entrepreneurial prowess came to limelight in early 2007 when she was selected as one of the 101 Young African Leaders. Her success milestone is a result of the extreme optimistic spirit she embodies, her vast knowledge of National issues and unique pragmatic approach to development and capacity building for the successor generation in Nigeria.
