It's the festive season already, or simply put Xmas is near! I am super happy, the parties, the benefits and all sought of new beginnings.

So here to start off the first week of the 'real festive season' - the last week in November - I've put together a list of events/seminars/exhibitions/benefits that should not be missed, from the parties, shows to seminars and exhibitions. Xperience 2011

Venue: New Eko Hotel, Expo Centre, VI
Description: Convened and hosted by Pastor Paul Adefarasin, ‘The Experience is an Interdenominational Gospel concert that features some of the best-known musical talents of our time. The Event, which debuted in December 2006 with over 70,000 persons in attendance rapidly gained momentum at its second outing with a quantum leap in attendance of well over 250,000 people. The Experience has now become known as the largest musical concert in Africa.

Lagos Style Week 2011

Description: Lagos style week is aimed at providing a stage for new and independent designers in their real authentic African look in high definition. The show will be taking place on the 26th and 27th of November and will display the works (10 design pieces) from 5 established and 20 emerging designers over both days.

Executive Team Leadership Seminar

Learning German in Nigeria

Description: The language department of Goethe Institut Nigeria offers help and information to language students that are interested in taking the Start Deutsch 1 examination. Free counseling in the library is offered every Thursday from 10:30am to 1:00pm. Additionally, a few days prior to the exam, Goethe-Institut organizes a free mock test for registered candidates.

Credit Analysis and Management

Description: This is a core credit programme developed to equip participants with practical knowledge and skills in analysing and managing credits. Walk For Life [Sickle Cell Awareness]

Description: The WalkForLife Foundation is putting together “thousand man walk” to create awareness about Sickle Cell Disease in Nigeria. If you are in the Lagos are on the 3rd of December, 2011 we strongly urge you to attend and support this event for a great cause. Over 150,000 children are born with Sickle Cell Disease every year in Nigeria. Just think about that for a moment.
